Father Connor Newlun

The Rev. Connor Newlun serves as Rector (priest and pastor) at St. Paul’s. He began ministry here in February 2020 after time at two parishes in Virginia. He grew up in Northern Virginia and met Sarah while they were both in high school in Warrenton, VA. Connor came to believe Jesus is the Son of God, who died for our sins and rose again on the third day, while worshipping in an Episcopal Church with Sarah’s family. After working a number of blue-collar jobs, he went to the University of Viriginia and received God’s call to ordained ministry there. Later, Connor earned a Masters in Divinity degree from Virginia Theological Seminary and was ordained a priest in 2013. He and his family now live in far western Loudoun County Virginia, and he’s amazed to serve a church that draws from four states.
